Montana

We went to Montana with family over the 4th of July and we all had a great time. We were supposed to go fly-fishing and be eating fish like crazy, but it didn't happen because the river was moving to quickly to catch anything. With white water rafting, games, family, and fun, we all had a great time even without the fish.

It was beautiful in Montana and I couldn't get enough of it. Here are a few of the many pictures I took of and around Rock Creek.

The Farmers' Market in Missoula. I didn't get as many pictures there but here are some of the few that I got.

Roasting marshmallows: Yum!

Kate with Uncle Aram and Aunt Mollie.

Enjoying marshmallows: Even better.
Kate had a little dance.

Henry had a little song.
This is Camden, my almost six-year-old cousin. She is as sweet as can be and I miss her a bunch.

Camden had a great time.
This is Claire a.k.a. ClaireBear. She is a cutie patootie and I miss seeing her cute little face.

This is how Claire likes to enjoy her marshmallow.

Cousins!

We all had a great time and I wish we didn't live so far away from each other.

Spring...almost

It was beautiful outside this morning. The snow was all glittery from the previous dusting of snow and everything was covered in frost. I was brave and went outside in the cold, without a coat on. I guess I'm too lazy for winter. Spring was in the near future until the blizzard this week. A blizzard at the end of March? Weird.

I will admit that the snow in the picture below is perfect.

Pancake breakfast

Almost every Saturday morning we have some special breakfast. This particular Saturday morning we were having pancakes. I mean, I was making special pancakes and everyone else was eating them. Pancakes just seem a whole lot better when they are in a special shape. These first pancakes were for the loving parents who provide the ingredients...

This pancake was Kate's special flower pancake.

I think Kate really enjoyed her pancake.
 Henry's smiley face pancake.
The dogs really wanted to join the pancake breakfast.

Mt. Rushmore

I finally figured out how to get my pictures on this blog!

We visited some friends in South Dakota, and while there we visited Mt. Rushmore. It was amazing. Seeing it in pictures just isn't the same as seeing it in real life.
The huge rock pile below the heads is the remains from the dynamite. 90% of it was built using dynamite.

These were the cool flags leading up to Mt. Rushmore.

It was absolutely beautiful the day we went.

The scenery was also beautiful.
This is another cool, but random, picture that I got.
